Who we are

RISE UP! 94965 Foundation is a community-based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit with the mission of ensuring that TK-8th grade students in the 94965 school district have equitable access to educational and cultural activities above and beyond what is provided by public funding.

Find the need

We work closely with the Sausalito-Marin City School District and school administrators to locate those areas where we can provide funds so that our school district can provide a world-class education for our children.

Fill the need

We galvanize our school community as a whole: school board members, administrators, teachers, staff and students, and empower them with fundraising events, large and small, that unite us as a community. We then allocate funds to the Sausalito-Marin City School District for specific programs for TK-8th grade.

What we fund

Outdoor Education

We raise funds for the Garden Project. A curricular program that deepens our children’s enjoyment in and connection with the earth.

We fund field trips for all grades, and immersive outdoor experiences for middle schoolers. These trips create opportunities to spark wonder, joy, and learning.

Music

We raise funds for Music Education. Studying music is a uniquely synthesizing and integrating sensory activity for the mind and body with special benefits for the developing minds of young children in the most enjoyable way.

Grant Funding Program

In 2021, Rise Up! 94965 Foundation launched our Grant Funding Program. We fund grant requests from administration, teachers and staff!
